Santander has yet again been recognised for its business banking services, claiming the Business Moneyfacts Business Bank of the Year' award for the third year in a row.
The prestigious accolade was one of four collected at the annual Business Moneyfacts Awards ceremony, which was held last Thursday (March 24) at the London Marriott Hotel Grosvenor Square.
Santander, which aims to become the SME bank of choice', was also awarded the title of Best Business Current Account Provider' - the ninth time the banking group has won the award along with Best No Notice Business Deposit Account Provider' and Best Service from a Commercial Mortgage Provider'.
Lee Tillcock, editor of Business Moneyfacts the leading independent business finance publication, said: "Santander performed consistently well during 2010 and Business Moneyfacts is delighted to recognise this excellence by awarding it Business Bank of the Year'."
"This award measures all aspects of business finance, including products, innovation and service. It is assessed by our experienced research teams and is based on the data collected, analysed and displayed in Business Moneyfacts magazine and its online systems over the whole year."
He added that the other awards claimed highlights "the good value products Santander has offered over the past year", as well as the "quality of service provided to mortgage brokers ".
