Mortgage Expert Upbeat Over Availability Of Business Loans

Many UK businesses are currently finding it difficult to get loans, but there is hope on the horizon, a commercial mortgage specialist has claimed.

Julia Monks, founder of U First Mortgage Services Ltd, explained that there are still some good deals to be had despite the lingering effects of the worldwide credit crunch.

"For some high street lenders, it's business as usual but others have tightened up on their lending policy and are less likely to refinance outside debts such as credit card balances," she commented.

"Over the last couple of years, there has been a substantial increase in the number of commercial lenders entering the UK market ."

"It has made the market even more competitive which can be good news for borrowers provided they know where to look," the mortgage specialist added.
